I think I’ve got Grey Box forest sap running in my veins. Spent a bleak rainy morning at Woodlands Backpaddock. Enjoyed every bit of it. Here is Peter the Prince.
Red-capped Robin, male. Just in case you begin to think I’m a one bird wonder.

I love the reflection of his red cap on his beak, not to mention the reach of his longest claw!

I’m heading off to The Warrumbungles on Tuesday. I’m hoping to keep in touch during the week or so I’ll be away.

Hi Brian, he is a great bird to work with, in times past, I’d have been with them every other day and they seem to adapt well, but its much too far for us to travel, so we act like tourists.
Hope you time in the Warrumbungles is enjoyable. I have fond memories of youthful trip there.
