Tip toeing round nesting sites

Just down the road from our favourite Scarlet Robins, a pair of Eastern Yellow Robins have also decided that an early start to Spring means early nest building.

This one, I practically walked into, despite being told at the time, “It’s just there on your left, you are TOO close.”

  1. Hi Dave – a gorgeous series of shots..what neck of the woods. It is certainly a privilege to watch these birds set up home. I currently have my eyes on a pair of Peregrines in Niddrie Quarry…close for me to watch.

      Thanks for that, like the images on white, but I’m stuck with the rather large obvious and intrusive header text. Might have to find a better more elegant or pay some money and get an update to deal with text.
